Teletherapy
Same therapy. Wherever your family is.
Connect with a licensed GO Therapy speech-language pathologist by secure video — from home, from school, or anywhere in Nevada. No commute. No waiting room. Just great care.
How it works
Getting started takes about five minutes.
- 1
Schedule your appointment
Book through our intake form or give us a call. We'll confirm whether teletherapy is a good fit for your child's goals and set up your account in SimplePractice.
- 2
Check your reminder
Before each session, you'll get an email or text reminder with a "Join Appointment" button. That link is your way in — no searching, no passwords.
- 3
Join the waiting room
Click your link a few minutes early. On a computer, it opens right in your browser. On a phone or tablet, you'll use the free SimplePractice Telehealth app. Your therapist admits your child when they're ready.

Session and carry-over
Your SLP leads a live, play-based session with your child. Afterward, we share home strategies so the learning keeps going between appointments.
Why teletherapy
Flexible care without compromising on quality.
Your own clinician
You see the same licensed SLP every time — not a rotating roster. Continuity matters for kids.
No commute required
Skip the drive to Henderson. Teletherapy fits into your family's schedule, not the other way around.
Great for screen-comfortable kids
Many children engage beautifully on video — especially those who do better in their own environment.
Secure & private
All sessions run on a HIPAA-compliant platform. Your child's care stays between you and your therapist.
Is teletherapy right for your child?
Teletherapy works well for a lot of families — and our therapists will tell you honestly if in-clinic would serve your child better. Some signals it's a good fit:
- Your child is comfortable on screens or tablets
- In-person appointments are hard to make consistently
- Your child feels more at ease in their own space
- You're anywhere in Nevada but can't always travel to Henderson
- You want a parent-coaching component built right into sessions
Questions parents ask
- What do we need to join a session?
- A device with a camera and microphone, and a stable internet connection. On a desktop or laptop, sessions open directly in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari — no download needed. On a phone or tablet, you'll need the free SimplePractice Telehealth app (available on iOS and Android). Download it before your first appointment.
- How do we join when it's time?
- You'll receive an appointment reminder by email or text with a "Join Appointment" button. Click it a few minutes early, allow camera and microphone access when prompted, and you'll land in a virtual waiting room. Your therapist will admit your child when the session is ready to begin.
- Is teletherapy covered by insurance?
- Many of the plans we accept cover teletherapy at the same rate as in-clinic visits. Coverage varies by plan, so we'll verify your benefits before your first appointment so there are no surprises.
- How long are sessions?
- Sessions are typically 30–45 minutes, depending on your child's age, goals, and attention. Your therapist will recommend a cadence that makes sense for your child's plan of care.
- Is it as effective as in-person therapy?
- Research supports teletherapy as effective for most speech and language goals. Our SLPs use the same evidence-based approaches online as they do in clinic — and will let you know honestly if in-person would serve your child better.
